Dental: Dental illness covered up to $1,000 a year, plus root canals and crowns for injured adult teeth. Cleanings only via Wellness Rewards.
Alternative therapy: Complementary therapies (acupuncture, chiropractic, laser and similar) and vet-supervised behavioral therapy are included.
Wellness: Optional Wellness Rewards ($300, $500 or $700 a year) for routine care and cleanings — a non-insurance membership.
Waiting periods: Accidents none, illness 14 days, orthopedic/cruciate 6 mo. No accident wait. Cruciate disease, IVDD, patellar luxation and hip dysplasia that show signs in the first 180 days are excluded for life (an orthopedic vet exam can shorten this in many states).
Cured pre-existing conditions: Curable pre-existing conditions can be covered after 12 months free of symptoms and treatment. Incurable ones (orthopedic, allergies, cancer, diabetes) stay excluded.
Eligibility: New policies up to age 14. Minimum age 6 weeks. Sold in every state.
